Shenton Way sold for $650m to German group

Lippo Centre formerly 78 Shenton Way or MCL Building was purchased by
Lippo Group for S$ 151 million. Lippo Centre is located at 78 Shenton
Way, Lippo Centre, Singapore 079120.

It was owned by MCL Land Ltd, the listed property arm of Jardine
Cycle & Carriage Ltd. Lippo Centre is a 99-year leasehold property
and the architecure of this buildings is very simply, yet very
distinctive. The brown, stepped facade at the top makes it a landmark
marking the southern end of Shenton Way.
