VANCOUVER

We were lucky enough to have visited this grand residence when it was owned by one of the world's largest shipping tycoons.  That's his car above in front of the home which was often featured in movies, television and magazines.

On nearly three acres of the city's most expensive stretch of land in the ultra-exclusive First Shaughnessy district, The Hollies is an spectacular residence.   The home was built in 1912 by George Macdonald in the Neo-Classical Revival style, then in the mid 50's was used by a company for commercial use and subsequently sold and restored for residential use.
