UBC friends from Commerce reconvened in Hong
Kong at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club after many years.

Adam had been working for
Nike for the past 12 years. He was based in Shanghai as the Managing
Director - China & HK in Nike. Happily married to Amy with two daughters.
He is now with Li & Fung group with responsibility of their
Branded Lifestyle business
This group of long time
friends from UBC Commerce has also been generously hosted by another classmate
who is a very successful developer in Hong Kong.
He charmed us by picking us up in his Rolls Royce and has been generous
by hosting us on several occasions.
In the middle is Richard
Poon who is the Managing Director of Asia
Standard, a well regarded medium-sized real estate developer in Hong
Kong. Shareholders of this Hong Kong-listed company include a
significant shareholding by the Duke of Westminster through Governor; and Ayala
the institutional developer from the Philippines.
On the right is
Mae-Mae (Tien
May) Lau who has been living in Hong Kong since after
graduation. She has been Vice President (Business Development) for
Culturecom Holdings, a public listed company which has concluded a joint venture
with IBM in developing a Chinese CPU.
She has a public relations practice also in Beijing China.

Commerce friends from both sides of the Pacific on the occasion of DIANA MAH's first visit to Asia. Also
joining in the festivities were Hong Kong residents and Commerce grad's MAE
MAE LAU and ANDREA ENG. PHOEBE JONES of Vancouver
who accompanied Diana to Shanghai and Hong Kong also joined the group.
