Pineapple is good for digestion, diarrhea, vomiting as
well as abdominal swelling when eaten raw (not for people with eczema).
Unfortunately, the pineapple tart isn't that great because when sugar is added
in the baking process, the natural property of pineapple changes. Here's Ms
Lam's recipe for a ''cleansing'' dish:
Pineapple & chicken stir fry
Two boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breast, cut
in small chucks or sliced.
- Half of a fresh pineapple, sliced sea salt, white
pepper
- Two tablespoons of Canola oil
- Marinate chicken with salt, pepper and one tbsp oil
for at least one hour.
- Heat frying pan with one tbsp oil, stir fry chicken
until 80 per cent cooked.
- Put in pineapple, stir fry until mixed well,
lightly season with salt & pepper.
Option: Can add a clear sauce by adding
cornstarch liquid at the end. Eat this dish every day or every other day. It can
also relieve dizziness due to low blood pressure. - SINGAPORE
